All right now, J.F.Killah and I just got back from a little trip to Europe and I thought I’d share some of the highlights.
While visiting our buddy in France we got to play some tunes in Lyon at Club Interface. The bar owner treated us well and was loving J.F.Killah’s liquid drum’n’bass selections. You can check out the show review here: http://www.lemauvaiscoton.fr/le-linge-des-voisins/pacific-bassline-jfkillah-eradik-ec. NOTE: You’ll need to be able to read French 😉
Much thanks to Jordi Cassignac for coming out and taking pics! And much thanks to Oncle Moe and DJ EC for showing us such a good time
Then in Spain we hit up the Innovation in the Sun Music Festival. I must say this was a much different festival then the ones we have back here in BC. First off, you stay in a hotel and your breakfast and dinner are included. Second, all the music happens in a giant night club in the town. So then during the day you’re kinda left to your own; hit the beach, go on a boat cruise, play in the water park, etc… It’s definitely more of a relaxing getaway then a roughing it in the woods kinda deal. Anyway, it was an awesome time and we met tons of cool peeps from all over.
One of these peeps is DJ Hoogs from Rochester, New York. He’s a DnB producer and he runs a label, 535 Recordings. Here’s a tight mix of his that I’ve been really enjoying lately
